Re: Alternatives to System Sensor for Notifier notification

All of you are completely missing the question. Putting "Non-System Sensor" products would be okay as long as they are just normal Horn/Strobes (Non-Addressable). I've used the Genesis series on many Honeywell panels (Fire-Lite, Notifier, etc.) and they work fine. Just make sure you have the correct...

Hey! I live by there! And I do remeber that a few years back. I’d always hear the MT’s and the Advances going off on my way to school.

How can you tell a ceiling mount L-series is actually an L-series? Doesn't it look the same as an Advance?
Up close, or if you’re “reeeaaalllyyy” staring at it, there are some big differences :)

Re: PA announcements mentioning the fire alarm.

OMG YES especially announcing a fire drill, then the anxiety kicks in just with the anticipation of the alarms going off at any given moment.

Re: Wheelock 7002T coming back!

Aren't 7004Ts the AC version of the 7002T? No, They're just 4 wire versions Actually, the 7004T-115 is the AC version. The 4-wire version was variously called the 34T-24+WS-24, 34T-24-WS-24, and later just 34T-24-WS. Ahhhhh sorry about that. I always though it was just a 4 wire version. hmmm thank ...

Is there any soldering that can be done to reverse this if I change my mind?

It’s possible, I’ve done it, it’s frustrating and difficult, but I’ve done it.

Re: Wheelock Sync Module Question

Yes they are relay based, but unlike relay based control panels, they use timers in place of latching circuits (example: 555 timer) to control the timing of the pulses. System Sensor and Gentex both use what is referred to as solid state logic, which does the same thing as relays, but it switches t...

Wheelock Sync Module Question

Are Wheelock sync modules relay based? (i.e. They make the "clicky" sound when activated)

Thanks in advance

I wrote a song.....

This is just a song I wrote and my friend is singing in it. I just want opinions on how it sounds if anyone wants to be helpful. This is not my effort to get my music out there, I honestly just want feedback at this point. Thanks!
