Re: Edit/delete posts & edit username whenever desired
I third this, especially being able to delete posts.
This is especially important as some users might post information that their employer doesn’t want to be posted publicly.

Re: Possible Fire Alarm On House In Commercial
It looks like a P2R mounted on the ceiling, and I second the above comments. A house near me has a Potter SH horn/strobe most likely as a sprinkler alarm. Or more likely a P2RHK-120. To the OP: here's how to correctly embed images from Google Drive 1. Make sure the image's link permission is set to...

Unfortunately, no.
In your case, if you need the exact rules, the software is the only way to view the program.

Re: Bosch System With No Notification Appliances
The voice evacuation system handles the tones and messages, and would be tied into a high-priority input on the PA system.
For a Bosch system, you'd use an EVAX or Wheelock Safepath voice panel.

Another thing: here's a System Sensor beam detector which replaced an old Cerberus Pyrotronics one in the gym. https://scontent-lga3-2.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.2885-15/e35/s320x320/131061572_1336674176732443_9128810257849443825_n.jpg?_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_cat=107&_nc_ohc=ufWA8ufb...

I’m pretty sure you can easily disable ground fault detection on Notifier panels.

Re: Fire Alarms in Buildings (2.0)
Siemens/CP SLC protocols are not backward-compatible. If the detectors were replaced, so were the addressable pulls. As for the old pulls, they were probably retrofitted with addressable modules. I've seen these setups several times, one of these systems (South Station in Boston) even has Electro-V...

If you become aware of a building that's slated for demolition, feel free to ask the owner or demolition company if you could retrieve the fire alarm equipment!SimplexFan2006 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 9:31 pm Is it possible to pull fire alarms out of old buildings and give them to somebody

This leads me to believe that the new system is a FireFinder XLSV/Cerberus PRO Modular. The pull stations and speakers in the original part of the mall remain untouched; I wonder if they will be upgraded in the near future. I'm particularly surprised that the conventional initiating devices were no...
