4100ES Update

It’s been a second since I posted an update about what’s going on with my 4100ES!

I have purchased several more parts and installed them into the panel, as I get closer to having voice evacuation fully setup.
I’ll attach a few pictures to this post. Do note that the Firefighters Telephone assembly has been sold, and the button card that is missing its rubber button has been fixed!

There’s still a few more parts I need to get before this build is done. Notably:

  • An amplifier (will be a 100W version, the larger 4-block amplifier with 6 NACs) for bay & speaker power
  • Additional 1-block card for the 2nd bay (not sure exactly what this will be, but most likely an 8-point relay card)
  • One two-slot or two one-slot LED modules to replace the blank plates (will likely require an additional LED switch controller board to work)
  • Network or RS232 card (first bay, next to CPU card) for panel networking.
  • Replacing the SDACT with either another zone card or an RS232 card (haven’t decided which).
  • Maybe, one day, I’ll either find a dress panel or a complete cabinet for an ES…who knows…

If I don’t end up buying a 100W amplifier, I’ll purchase a Flex50 amplifier and an ES-PS power supply, for a future IDNAC expansion. ok bye
