7002/7002T with a red strobe - Did they exist?

Destin has a WST-24 with a red lens. Is it possible there was a 700X-series horn/strobe that came with a red lens?

To my knowledge, the only models that were available with a red or blue strobe were the WS-24 and WST-24.

Okay, thanks for the info!

I thought those came in green and amber also? I had seen some mention of it on an instructions sheet that came with a WS-24

I’ve seen one…
Couldn’t get a picture though as it is behind a reception desk and the receptionist would be like “WTF”.

It was a gray general signaling 7002T with a red strobe. I’m not sure what it was being used before but it was definitely not a fire alarm device.

Yes, they indeed exist! The nursing home my great grandmother lives at has an old Gamewell 7100 system with BG-10L's and Wheelock 7002T's mounted sideways for some reason. Some of the 7002T's have red or blue strobes. I think they're for trouble, supervisory or something like that. Not sure about amber though. But i have seen them in red and blue before.

sure they’re fire alarm? sounds like a code blue or a nurse call system.

Never said they were used for fire alarm purposes. They probably are or were used for nurse call or code blue. Not sure though. All i said was that red and blue lensed 7002t’s do exist.

you said you think they’re possibly for trouble or supervisory, which would lead one to assume fire alarm.

Chris+s- I did say trouble or supervisory. But you are probably right. I just sometimes change what i said like that in order to update my ideas. Sorry if that bugs you. I do agree though. They were or are most likely used for nurse call or code-blue. Or some other type of non-fire emergency. The alarms themselves were red though. Just the strobes were either blue or red though. Probably doesn’t anything though.
