A new T-Bar on the way?

I was searching patents for pull stations (b/c of the light sensing pull topic) and found this new design patent for Simplex:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=5M8gAgAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#v=onepage&q&f=false - for the handle

Actual patent:

Evidently, it’s supposed to address the needs of disabled individuals may not possess the hand or finger dexterity required for operating current pull stations. For persons suffering from quadriplegia, for example, operating current pull stations may be impossible.

I’m pretty sure Simplex already released it, selling it as the “NO GRIP” station.

Yeah, that’s the No Grip handle.

Sorry to burst your bubble!

Still a great find!

I would love to have one of those! Great Find!

You know, the strange thing was when I was going to bed I thought “wait a minute, I’m sure I recall seeing one in a datasheet somewhere” Anyways, it is cool.

Looks really cool. Almost like a combination being able to pull it with your fingers and just pinching it and yanking.
