Some of you know about my video game project.
I am in need of background music for it, though.
I can’t pay anybody, this would be completely voluntary.
I’d prefer recorded work over electronic MIDI instruments because I want to have as much original content as possible. I’ll be OK with MIDI instruments as long as they sound decent (not distorted, etc). Please do not use pre-recorded loops (example: Apple Loops in GarageBand)
If anybody is interested, please comment on this post.
I’ll give people “assignments” for stuff I want if I get enough interest.

I may be able to help you out. I have a full recording studio in my basement and could write/record pretty much any genre you want, but I probably won’t have the time to score the entire game. However, let me know what you need and I’ll see what I can pull together.

I have an idea for a portion of “Beauty and Land Mines”.
The issue with taking a song intended to have vocals, making it instrumental, and placing it in a scene in a game is it’s too general, as in it may not fit the current setting.
What I need are a few short pieces that are noticeable, but not so noticeable that they “kick you in the face” – just enough to set a mood.

Destin to be completely honest, they should make people like you famous artists. A majority of people that are famous for “singing” now a days really makes me wanna go deaf. I really liked Beauty and Land Mines! Very nice!
