I’m re-posting something I put on r/firealarms. An addition to a hospital and they get chimes instead of horns. Never thought that these existed.
What do you mean, you didn’t think L-Series chime/strobes existed? They do. If you mean hospitals using chimes, yes, that’s done intentionally to avoid scaring the occupants (which is especially important if a medical procedure is in-progress, don’t want a surgeon making a fatal mistake just because they got spooked by the fire alarm).
Very odd how they’re in pulse rather than Temporal Code 3 as should be required by NFPA 72.
