Federal Signal Vibratone 450E

Hi all,
I was just watching a YouTube video of these general or fire signaling device. I have never heard of it but it kinda looks like federal’s version of a simplex 4903. Anyone have any info on it?

Well starting off, Simplex rebranded their 4090-91’s from the Federal Signal 950B’s (950B’s look the same as 450E’s but are speakers).

450E is actually a solid state electronic version of the Vibratone 450D.

The low-pitched 4903 mechanical horn is still a mechanical horn.
