Fire Alarm Wiring Mess!

Well, i was looking around on google images of fire alarm panel wiring and i saw this and its a mess!

This panel is pretty much waiting to be blown up! lol

Lol, computertech, I think that panel belongs to a member on this board. Google can sometimes take snapshots from YouTube videos, or maybe the thumbnail that is shown before the play button is pressed.

No, it wasnt a thumbnail, I had searched “Worst Electrical Work” in google images…

haha, do you know who it is?

That is definitely Nathan’s. Are you able to check your history? Go back and see what website that came from.

WTF That my f***ing alarm panel! You got it off YouTube!

I think someone else got it off of YouTube and uploaded to their website. Then, Google picked it up. Then, computertech conducted a search, and found that image. I’m wondering, though, who put it on their website?

Some f***ing idiot that’s who!

I’m p**sed

Why do you have to make fun of my wiring?

Calm down…

He didn’t know it was yours, OK?

Ok,ok,ok I want to find out who posted that pic on google tho

I’ve tried a quick search on Google and Bing, but haven’t found anything. Everyone’s searches can be different, so we will have to see if computertech has his browser or Google search history. If you do attempt to do a search yourself, make sure to tune the search setting so it will only search for images added since July 1, which is when you uploaded the video.

I did and I can’t find it eather

I didnt know it was yours, and i was up this morning looking at picture of bad wiring. Have a problem with that?

Im not making fun of you…

Ok,i undrestand.

One thing tho,

You may want to neat up your wiring, use zip ties to hold the cable together.

Could you show me you history because I can’t find it when I google it.

That wiring looks fine by me. Within the panel we (the manufactures) dont expect clean wiring but when it comes to the wire runs outside the panel, it does need to be tight.
As don’t as you have non-power limited and power limited wires coming out the same conduct, fine by me.
The only risk you have when wiring like that in the cabinet is cross-talk or interference between the RS485, SLC, and NAC.
If someone says that panel is “messy” has never been a real tech in the field.

Thank You!

Quite honestly, it really doesn’t look that bad to me.

It automatically does that. Google picks up images from basically every website it can, including youtube. I know I’ve searched up things like ‘edwards adaptabel’ on google, and popped a couple of images from my youtube videos.
