how many of you collect coins. I collect us coins under 1964 and my oldest coin is an 1854o dime.

My dad used to, but I don’t. Although, I do enjoy reading the dates off of coins, and I like to hold onto older coins the most.

I have all 50 state quarters, and that’s pretty much it.

I know virtually nothing about coins, but my grandfather began collecting them at a young age. While he was out of work on an injury and was looking for something to do, he literally ordered wheelbarrows of coins from the bank and began sorting through them to find the rarities. He became quite the expert and earned the nickname “The Money Man” at trade shows. I inherited a special collection that he put together for me. I haven’t thoroughly delved into it yet, but I believe there are several morgan dollars from the 1800’s and all of the coins are encased in a portfolio showing their condition. I’m going to hold onto it for a while as an investment.

I have coins somewhere from my grandmother’s will, my parents are holding on to them for me until I’m an adult. My dad used to go from bank to bank looking for certain coins (I think state coins).

No offense to anyone, but I use my coins to buy stuff, not stare at them.

They aren’t collecting just regular pennies and dimes, they are old coins, and state quarters.

Honestly, I haven’t touched currency in a while. I do most of my shopping online now.

I was interested when I was younger, but I never got off the ground with it.

The only coins I collect are the Canadian pennies, since they took them out of circulation.
