How do you program coding and audible silence on a fire lite ms 5024
Heres the 5024 Manual: https://www.firelite.com/CatalogDocuments/50066.pdf
Refer to pages 43-44 specifically for programming the NAC codings.
If you want audiable silence, you will need to set one NAC to non-silenceable and the other to silenceable. Wire horns into the silenceable NAC, and strobes into the non-silenceable NAC. This way, when the panel is silenced, the strobe NAC will remain powered when the horns shut off.
Press the MODE key, enter the code “7764” (Note to Moderator: this is not a private access code, it is publicly available, so I should be able to post it here). The display will read 00_F. You are now in programming mode and you can follow the detailed directions to specifically program the NACs. You can view a detailed process to enter programming mode on page 32.
If this is in a real building, rather than a demonstration or “hobbyist” setup, let a professional take care of it.
Yeah I did find the manual but I didn’t want to post the code because I didn’t know whether or not it was considered a code we can’t post.
Agreed. “7764” actually is printed on a sticker on the inside of the panel door anyway.
