Found a really weird 4004 on eBay that uses the same Star Micronics square buzzer as the 4001 rather than the traditional beeper.
Wish I had this one. What do you think of it? The date on it is January of 1996, so maybe this is an earlier 4004.
That’s the first one I’ve seen with that kind of buzzer. It makes sense though, since the 4001 and 4002 were still being made until '96 and the 4004 came out in '94.
