I used to goto a middle school with a 4100 classic system with Simplex 4903 mechanical H/S and when it went off it always did a half blast and then went into temporal. ( The first half blast always scared us :lol: )
At my high school it what im guessing to be a 4120 and simplex truealerts in the science wing and non ada wheelock horn strobes.
The weird thing is it goes right into temporal, no half blast.
Is there different versions of temporal coding? :?
I’m not exactly sure what the purpose is, but most panels that do a synced code 3 will have some sort of irregular coding of the alarms when it starts going off.

At my high school the Gentex comander horns on the outside of one of the building used to be out of sync with the wheelock devices? Coud that have been delibrate? The tyco guy came by ( Not to brand bash but he "accidently " set this syste off during lunch and dumped the whole building. :roll: " and he later im guessing added a sync module and that fixed it because our last drill of the year everything was synced except the wheelock strobes.
One more question:
The middle school next door has what sounds like 4030 horns on the outside and it does a 4-4-4-4 countinous patterrn where it does ---- ---- ---- (waits half beat and then continue the pattern.)
