Unidentified pull station

I saw it in a gift shop, and I have absolutely no clue as to what it is or what it is made by. All I know is that it is old.

Welcome to the community!

You know, I think that’s one of Edwards’ very first devices, if not the first pull station they ever made! Not sure what year it might be from, though the model is “2241” going by the number behind the glass.

If you can, you oughta try & save/obtain that break-glass station as it’s extremely rare.

Wow! I did not know, but I can’t get that station because it’s embedded in the building and they probably not let me take it out.

Doesn’t hurt to ask, that might be the only way of getting it.

But my parents will probably not take me on the about 45-minute drive to where I saw this just to ask if I can get a fire alarm from a building.
I can see the conversation:
Me: “Excuse me, can I have that fire alarm pull station over there?”

I honestly don’t know what to say to that, other than if that does end up happening I hope it all goes well & you are able to save it.

Edwards still uses “cat. no.” (catalog number) when referring to some of their models.
The more things change, the more they stay the same!
