At my school we have covered outdoor hallways that are mostly all covered within the fire alarm system (installed in 2008). Most of the outdoor hallways have ceiling mount Wheelock RSS strobes and Wheelock AH-24WP horns mounted on the wall.

The “FIRE” text is facing different than all of the others. This alarm got me me wondering; Did Wheelock ever made an official ceiling mount AS, or is this just a mistake in manufacturing?
Considering a local Chili’s restaurant has multiple ceiling mount AS’s on the wall, I’d say yes, Wheelock did in fact make a ceiling mount model at one point. :lol:
yes. as destin said, wheelock made ceiing mount versions of the wheeock as. they’re not as common as the wall mount counterparts though. the shoppers that i always shop at has white ones along with just a few ceiling mount wheelock rsses. i’ve seen red ones at around rockville, maryland i believe.
