Guys, I have been trying to upload pictures of a new display system and some other photos of existing systems I have but I can’t get the photos to upload. It keeps telling me “http error”???
Try uploading them to Imgur and linking it in the embedded img thingys.

I’ve got some pictures I would like to post but can’t. Haven’t been able to post pictures since the site crashed.

As ccs46 already suggested, the best way to share pictures to the forums for the time being would be uploading to imgur. It only takes a few clicks to upload pictures and you don’t need an account. After you upload a picture, all you have to do next is just copy and paste the BBcode into your post. If there’s another image hosting site you prefer, all you have to do is post the image URL between the proper tags like this:
[img]http://yoursite.com/yourimage.png[img]
Yeah, but that’s too much work, :lol: . After all, I do have the option of adding attachments to a post, it should work. Shouldn’t it?
I was able to upload pictures just fine before the site crashed. Just seems like something wasn’t turn back on or something.
Yeah, hopefully one of the Admins sees this and has the time to figure out the problem.
Sorry everyone for the inconvenience. It looks like the path on the server where attachments are stored is not writable, which means that no one is able to upload attachments right now. Someone on the website team will need to change the permissions of that directory. I’ll let them know, and hopefully it should be a quick fix.
