My Outdoor Warning Siren

Postby Josh S. » Mon Oct 14, 2013 4:03 pm

For all you siren enthusiasts around. Recently the City of Reedsburg decided to replace two of their outdoor warning sirens. Knowing this, I jumped on the opportunity to finally own a siren. Well after $75 I purchased a '62 Thunderbolt 1003A (originally it was three phase and I am converting it to a 1003B due to the fact single phase is the only power source feasible to me). I have restored the head and it is currently painted with red and yellow stripes. Here is the unit being tested the first Wednesday of September.
