That’s a “Firecom” system, which was installed in 7 WTC. 1 and 2 WTC did NOT have this, they had Cerberus Pyrotronics systems.

Simplex 9219s in march time
The description of that video says that the alarm heard was a -9217 (110cd version of the -9219)

Here’s a brief clip of a newer “Firecom” system.
You can see a Wheelock ET70WP and a rebranded Sigcom pull station.

Nothing is seen, but what is heard is a Honeywell FS90 system! (and also the new Notifier/Honeywell system, since the system was in the process of being upgraded at that time.)

Fire alarm going off in the North Wing of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC. Horns are Cerberus Pyrotronics-branded Faraday electromechanical horns with the MTL-type strobes. I've heard them go off before in person and they were super loud and grating. I'm guessing they were the high-output version of the horns based on how loud they were, and that they were on FWR judging from the raspiness. They seem to be on some sort of slow march time coding, but they also pause intermittently while the strobes keep flashing, which was the same experience I had years ago.

I am actually quite interested in knowing what Cerberus Pyrotronics rebranded these horns as. If they were Faraday horn/strobes, then they would be the Faraday 6120 aka the Simplex 2903-9838 horn but if they are used by Cerberus Pyrotronics, they must be something else.

Sounds like a coded system to me. I counted 10-2, can't think of another type of system that would punch a pattern like that out.

Edwards 8810-AWs, Wheelock RSS, Wheelock AS-2415 and I swear I heard a Classic SpectrAlert in there.

Apparently they still make Wheelock AS-2415s because the one in the video is a vertical one and it does code-3. Reminds me of my elementary school where the multi-purpose room (which was originally a 1st grade classroom down in the basement while the rest of the 1st grade classes were on the main floor) had one and it was the only code-3 horn in the school. Back then (1999, 2002 to 2004) I was interested in it.
