I have a question. Does anyone have any documentation of vintage simplex panels (42xx, 2001, 2120 etc) that isn’t already on fire alarm rescources?
The 42xx panels are so old, I don’t think there’s any documentation left.
As for the 2001/2120, we have a moderator who’s a former Simplex technician. He might be able to point you in the right direction.
I probably have some documentation about the older systems that is not on the FA Resources site. However, finding the time to compare my inventory to the site inventory just is not available. When someone asks for information on a specific system I search my docs to see if I can help them with additional information. Much of the practical application information I have is not in written form. It is stored in the little gray cells between my ears.
