My house has currently has the following setup
4 First Alert Ion smoke alarms, Stand Alone No Interconnect
1 Interconnected Ion Smoke Alarm In the Hallway
1 Interconnected Heat Detector In the Kitchen/Wash room area.
1 Stand Alone Smoke Detector upstairs where I reside.
I installed these 5 years ago and there starting to degrade, 1 died, the others are showing alarm status but no sound and Im thinking of replacing them with PhotoElectric Only Detectors
