Apparently, the red incan lamps that were mentioned in “Name that Fire Alarm” are still in production.
For me at least that link/site appears to be bad.
UTC is in the process of redoing their websites…so it may be transient for a while. The link is working for me now. Yes, those lights are still available and they are also available from other manufacturers as well.
very cool. i thought they were, because in a building near me, one’s covering broke, and it was replaced. the old one was a burgundy color and the new one looked fire engine red… who makes it? correct me if i’m wrong please, but i believe that cornell makes it as a signal light, often used in doctors offices/hospitals/assisted living centers, and that edwards and other companies rebrand it and put it to other uses.
