Similar. That 6500 wasn't able to reset after an alarm anymore, you would have to power the entire panel down to clear it.

I wanted to post this on here because this was a really cool system I worked on today!

I am not exactly sure what the model on this panel is, But I believe this is a Mirtone 7900 series fire panel, with a Mirtone voice evacuation panel. This is basically the Mirtone version of an Edwards 6500 panel, and we still service many of them, but this is (as far as I know) the only one with voice evac we service. I love the alarm tone startup on this thing and the whoop is a one of a kind. I also love the pre announce tone on it, reminds me of an airplane. Anyways, here are the vids I made:





The first video is me checking the speakers in the parking garage. The second is a video of the two panels, showing the paging functions and showing an alarm.

That whoop is pretty cool. Almost fire department or ambulance sounding
