Since the 59ES Fire Alarm models by Simplex do not have a ceiling mounted version, I decided to try and think what it may look like, while using the wall mount alarm to help with design.
So, here it is:
(it isn’t symmetrical because I used the mouse to draw tho so rip)
So, what are your thoughts on it?, and if I can, how could I improve?
I like it too, BUT the device would have to be perfectly flat in order for the strobe to be seen from all angles, other than that, you should be the designer for simplex LOL. You’re definitely more creative than them
If you want to maintain the lack of radial symmetry, just extend the flat plane the grille lies on at one of the thicker points and put the LED there. Don’t forget to rotate the speaker grille.
And you guys don’t think Simplex is creative? Do you know how much creativity it requires to take the strobe from the 4903 series and reuse it for the next two generations of signals?
