Lyrics: Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder

I came up with some lyrics, meant to be sung to the tune of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”. Maybe one of the more musically talented of you could make an actual video. Anyway, hope you all like it:

[quote] It's a Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder! Its simplified complexity Is quite the thing to ponder Its forty thousand blinkenlights Might baffle first responders Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!

Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U

Because the building up the street
Was forty stories tall
If there was an emergency
We’d need to warn them all

So we cooked up a computerized
Control machine to use
Rectangular and functional
And clever through and through

Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!
Its simplified complexity
Is quite the thing to ponder
Its forty thousand blinkenlights
Might baffle first responders
Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!

Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U

We wired up the S-L-C’s and found it quite a breeze
Because they transmit data you can tap them like a “T”
Then we did the speaker/strobes and made a little goof
We mounted them invertedly and made them weatherproof

Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!
Its simplified complexity
Is quite the thing to ponder
Its forty thousand blinkenlights
Might baffle first responders
Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!

Simplex Forty One Hundred U
Simplex Forty One Hundred U

If it signals trouble
Then there’s no need for dismay
Just go to the main console
Check the LCD display
When wired by professionals
It can save your bloody life

For example…
Yes?

One night, I leave a candle on, and the speakers start to gripe:
“An emergency’s been detected” So I got up and left.

That’s our Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder!
Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder
Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder
Multiplex-addressable-networkable-transponder

Somebody call Destin. I think he’s one of the few people here with professional audio equipment.
