Federal Signal Series D1 Vibratone Horns

Postby firefreak57 » Mon Dec 04, 2017 8:16 pm

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a Federal Signal 450D Series D1 horn that has the contactless circuit board Faraday horn mechanism on back NIB and have received documentation for it. Due to the rarity of such horns and documentation, I want to share it with you all. I’ll get some pictures and get scans later and I can’t wait to test this brand new super rare device. For some reason, these horns came with two sets of mounting hardware. One is larger than the other, probably to accommodate for certain electrical box sizes, which is very interesting. This has to be one of the most interesting devices I’ve come to own as of yet and I can’t wait to share it with you all. I will upload the pics of the docs and get high res scans later. It’s been in the box for so long that the red pain has rubbed off the horn onto the paper, making it red in certain parts.
