I've got one...

How many wall-mounted visual notification appliances are required in a space that is 40x40 feet, and what intensity must the strobe be?

A: around 3 seconds, I used jjinc24’s video to count the reset time
Q: What city used to be the former headquarters of simplex?

BTW, lets keep this topic going :)
The reason it takes that one only 3 seconds is because when they are in trouble, they don’t reset. I also said on a normal reset. Other people I know who have 9050UDs or NFW-50’s (Notifier equivalent) say that they take around a minute and a half to reset normally. I have an NFW-50 and that’s how long it takes for me every time, regardless of the size of system.

My question: What year did voice evac start to become more prominent over using horns and bells?
I'm exclusively on Skype now. Add me at amazee_dayzee. I don't do voice or video chats though.

Voice evac was introduced in the early 1970’s and probably was mandated in high-rises (I think it’s 7 floors or more?) shortly after that.

I believe the correct candela is 15cd (if I’m not mistaken) and the # of strobes required is 2. For the record, I used this as a source: http://www.cfaa.ca/files/flash/MEMBERSH ... _Guide.pdf
