Hello,
Before I ask the question locally I thought I would ask here first.
When I have a Fire Alarm project I normally get a Mechanical Engineer to
stamp/seal my design drawings.
I have a new Fire Alarm project that will need full submittals for local permit.
I don’t have a NICET IV in order to stamp/seal the drawing for approval. However,
I do know someone that does have a NICET IV but primary water sprinklers.
Does anyone have an opinion if it is generally OK for them to sign/seal the electrical fire alarm drawings/plans??
I know it is a question for the local AHJ but just thought I would ask here before I embarrass myself locally.
Thanks for any input.
Les
