Difference between Notifier AM-2020 and AFP-1010

Does anyone know the difference between the Notifier AM-2020 and the AFP-1010? I commonly here these two model numbers being used interchangeably, and the fact that they both look the same.

Can you please be more specific? which of the two models has more loops and devices capable on it?

For the record, my high school had one from 1995 to 2016 when the whole system was upgraded to an EST3.

AM2020 can do 10 loops, and I think AFP-1010 can only do 5.

In either case: 198 devices per loop (99 modules, 99 detectors)
