Huh I didn't know that Faraday rebranded the U-MMT. In 1995, Faraday was bought out by Cerberus Pyrotronics so they would have stopped using that name after 1995. How OLD are the U-MMTs anyway? I thought they were fairly new.

I think Faraday originally made them, as older alarms like the MTL were a Faraday product.

But even still, it means that they must be older since if Faraday made them first, they became Cerberus Pyrotronics in 1995 and Siemens in 1998. So they would have to have been around before 1995. I originally thought that they came out in 2007 before the lawsuit which completely decimated their desire to make new products (the lawsuit ended in 2015).

The Faraday brand name continued to be used on products well after both the Cerberus Pyrotronics and Siemens acquisitions. It is entirely possible that the UMMT units produced after the acquisitions still were branded as Faraday, as evidenced with [Isaaaakkk]'s units.

Heck, I have a Faraday 10561 pull station that was manufactured in 2013, and I have seen newer RMS-1T stations still branded as Faraday. A merger or acquisition does not necessarily mean that the company name is immediately shredded into oblivion - in fact, it only makes sense that a widely recognized brand name still be used within the new organization.

Oh yeah then. That makes sense. I can see it now. Sorry for hijacking the topic.
