I want to know what an A32 is. I don't need a picture, just someone to explain what it is.
I'm exclusively on Skype now. Add me at amazee_dayzee. I don't do voice or video chats though.

Looks like a av 32 has a clear strobe and runs on 120vac

Oh so it is a strobe version. OK that makes sense.

An A32 is just an AV-32. You'll still see "AV-32" stamped somewhere on the plate. At some point, Space Age decided to add more specific model numbers to their devices. The format was (Plate style)-BL-SFX(lens color)-(visual type)-(audible type). If there was no audible (retrofit plate or remote light), it would just be 00000. My AV-32 horn/strobe is A34-BL-SFXC-SS24D-SH24D, meaning AV-34 plate, clear lens, 2.25 candela strobe, Faraday 6120 horn.Simplex 4051 wrote:I want to know what an A32 is. Did you hear about the film director who collected fire alarms?
