Really nice job so far! I hope that you can get more equipment soon!
I'm exclusively on Skype now. Add me at amazee_dayzee. I don't do voice or video chats though.
In a couple of weeks, I will officially have my own personal 4100u, 2 bay voice system to my collection! I have the cabinet coming and Master Controller in a couple of weeks. It should be fully functional with the exception of possibly 200+ troubles. 98% being missing devices. I am working with someone to get it programmed but that may take a bit.
Also a 3 bay ES panel is going to be in the works soon and possibly a 3 bay U panel.
I'll post pictures on Thursday of the system 80% completed.

Sorry for the double post but I want to mention, the thing with the ES panel is there is a workaround to adding devices without the programmer. The es has a feature called imode. It will hide all missing devices from the panel and show a system normal. When you want to add the device, take it out of imode and you're good to go. So I can have 500+ points available and hide any points not used, including ES horns and strobes, without the panel beeping all the time.

Actually the system will not show SYSTEM IS NORMAL. INSTALL MODE will reduce the 500 missing device troubles to 1 trouble.
From the 4100ES Operator's Manual:
- - -
The Install Mode is a 4100ES feature that allows the user to minimize the amount of Troubles that occur when the system is being installed or when it is undergoing extensive service.
Install Mode allows the technician to select device points and cards that might raise Troubles due to installation issues and place them in “Install Mode”. Install Mode will only raise one Trouble “INSTALL MODE ACTIVE”, regardless of the number of items in it.
- - -
There cannot be any part of a system out of service without a trouble of some kind showing.
I always find it interesting how some of these new features have their roots in 2120. Back in the day, if some points were added to a 2120 system that were not ready to install I could replace multiple point troubles with one trouble using the DISABLE and SET commands. DIS point# ON then SET point# NORMAL for each point. The point troubles go away and only POINTS ARE DISABLED trouble shows.
