Let’s say I had a master-slave panel configuration in a retrofit application. Could I use the old panel as a power supply for the control module that’s now controlling my signals and connected to the new main panel?
Really need more info to say this for sure, but if both panels provide a constant 24v source then it would likely be ok. Definitely would need to supervise the power supply (most control modules check for 24v at their input terminals but without knowing the system you’re describing I can’t say for sure)
