One of our customers has three SIMPLEX 4100ES fire alarm control panels in three different areas. Over the web, they want to control and monitor these 3 panels from their headquarter.
Is it possible?
All the panels are connected with SIMPLEX TSW Light Version Software.
Whether or not it’s possible, I’m not sure that it’s allowed. Last I heard, on-site computers should be allowed to control the system only because they are on site, however remotely they should be able to view the status of the panel (Alarm, trouble, etc) but not able to silence, reset, or anything like that. I don’t dig into Simplex much, but I do believe they have a product that you’re looking for.
