Simplex 1010

I am troubleshooting a Simplex 1010 panel and I am not getting a trouble signal when taking a new smoke head out of it’s base. Any ideas?

I’m fairly certain there’s no such panel model number as “1010”.

They probably mean 4010.

I don’t think there a panel such as a Simplex 1010. The only panel which I know has 1010 in the model number is the Notifier AFP-1010. Are you referring to the AFP-1010 or a Simplex 4010?
