Hochiki Panel Question

Howdy again. I come with a question about this panel I’m looking at. I don’t quite have the money for it now but it looks like it has good features for a decent price.

However, after looking at the wiring diagram on one of the photos next to a photo of the board, I can’t seem to find the AC IN terminals. Are they not there? It’s kind of odd.

From the looks of things they may be under the PCB. I’d suggest looking on the Hochiki website for the manual. This panel is still in production, btw.

Cool, I’ll check. Thanks, Andrew!

…That’s odd. The Hochiki website appears to be down.

I suppose I’ll look another day.

If you are still looking, here is a copy of the manual not hosted on the Hochiki Website: http://www.alarmsystemsdist.com/mc_files/3/HCA_Conv_Panel_Instructions_2011-12.pdf
AC power connections are discussed on page 14.

Looks to me like it is supposed to be at the bottom of the board as a separate component. By the lack of a transformer and the 24VDC wires going under the board, I bet they stuck the power supply under the main board.

The best thing to do is send a message to the seller asking them to take a picture of the space behind the mainboard to confirm that it is there.

Strange. The seller hasn’t replied to my message yet, and I sent it a few days ago.

Guys, I don’t know about this panel…

You know Thanksgiving was recently, maybe he’s busy from holiday stuff. Give him a couple more days and respond again

Hmm… If it does not come with a power supply, could I buy a 120VAC to 30VAC transformer, rectifier, and a filtering capacitor and sort of build my own power supply?

Nah, it almost never works that way.

Ah well.

Did you try contacting the seller and asking for details at all??

Yeah! So far, no response.
