Wheelock Safepath SP40S D5 Trouble

What does it mean when the LED D5 located on the top of the board is flashing and the system is in trouble? According to the manual it says that it is a Amplifier Section Trouble, but I’m not sure what that exactly means or how to fix it.

D5 blinking indicates a problem with the AUX input preamp. The following is from the manual for D5 blinking.

8.2.16 Procedure P
If the green PWR LED is “ON,” the yellow SYSTEM TROUBLE LED is “ON,” and D5 AMP LED is blinking, an Auxiliary preamp trouble has occurred.
Perform the following:

  1. Turn Aux Volume Pot (R100) fully clockwise.
  2. Initiate the AUX input if it is being used (via Remote MIC).
  3. Reset power to the SP40S board by turning it OFF and reenergizing it. Remove battery power first, then remove AC power. Wait 30 seconds. Apply AC Power first, then apply battery power.
  4. Replace the motherboard.

Thanks for the info, got system normal. Found out it was a dip switch setting on the motherboard used for the remote mic feature.
