I WAS TOLD NO FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WILL PINPOINT EXACT FIRE LOCATION, IS IT TRUE?

I need answer on wireless fire alarm system with a dialler that can pinpoint exact location of fire. for example , if fire is detected in the store, it should be able to flag sms to programmed phone numbers that fire is detected in the store, so that the persons involved can pinpoint exact fire location and act fast. I was told it is not possible but, I know professional could integrate other devices to make this possible. Any help from prof. in the house.

I am new in fire alarm, and a client who resides about 40 kilometers from his farm want this type of fire alarm installed in the 4 departments of his business which is several kilometers apart.

I will appreciate your response

So, I’m a bit confused by your post, but it sounds like you’re looking for an addressable system (http://firealarmtech.net/wiki/panels/intelligent), and through Monitoring, are looking for something such as Contact ID?

Quote from http://firealarmtech.net/wiki/monitoring/pots:
An extra benefit of monitoring systems in this way is a feature called Contact ID that most modern panels are capable of. This allows the monitoring center, and in some cases the local fire department, to know exactly which device activated. If the fire department is setup with the right software, they can even see a floor plan of a building and see exactly which rooms in that building have an active alarm, allowing them to follow the path of a fire before they even arrive on site.
Also, having some details on your region will help. Systems/laws are different across the globe.

Most modern addressable fire alarms can do this.
