Can anyone identify this?

I found this the other day at our local Asian buffet. It appears to be suppression related. Can anyone identify what this may be used for, or what it is?

It does appear to be a part of a kitchen suppression system. Kind of hard to see at first glance with the picture sideways, but on the left (bottom) is the cylinder of agent. Above, or to the right of that appears to be the control/actuation unit. From what I’ve seen, that box is almost always mounted next to the agent. Many times, the cylinder is small enough to fit inside the box. In the picture, it doesn’t appear to be in the kitchen. I’m making a wild guess that said kitchen is on the opposite side of that wall with the hood in close proximity to the agent’s location. I don’t see any other kind of suppression system besides a kitchen system being used in a food service environment.
