So I’m a little bit lost here… My fire lite MS-9600UDLS has been working fine for the past week, today I plugged in the panel after it’s been sitting off for a week, and upon applying power the panel began to beep, the trouble light came on, and all the characters on the screen are illuminated solid black. The screen stays illuminated, the characters all stay black and do not display words, and the trouble piezo continues to sound. I am unable to silence the piezo, panel is not responding to inputs. I have not damaged/mis-wired the panel in any way. It was working perfectly fine last time I powered it up. I do not have batteries for the panel yet. Any idea what could be causing the panel to do this? Please help!!
I would check to see if there is any damage or scratches on the board. Did you remove any knockouts? Are there debris in the cabinet? Is the correct voltage being supplied to the panel?
