That is an SMI-100, not a 9120B, I could tell from the new logo and there’s no ring around the center. The reason why I put it in there is because the missing test button made it look like it made a surprised face or something which I thought was funny
Oh, had no idea that’s what it was (though the 9120B survived long enough to have the current First Alert logo on it just the same).
Oh, alright, I guess that makes sense in this context.

Found three more of these inside of my local Target (I only took a picture of just this one bc I didn’t have much time), and this is a different version with a white border instead of walnut! For the record I think I’ve only seen one other of this version with the white border and it was on eBay. The three of these that I found were all in the same entryway.
I initially thought the one that I found on eBay was painted, but that was actually sealed since the mid 80s so that’s indeed a rare all-white version. These three that I found were most likely yellowed from age, not painted, so these are a rarer version of a rare-ish model.
