Yeah, definitely a little weird. All the Advance BP strobes in my school are mounted on the ceiling so i think they probably just thought that it would work the same way. No clue why they didn’t just use the white ceiling mount one with the BluePoint bezel and the blue strobe lens since the other high school in my district has those. Also I don’t know why they didn’t put in LED strobes because we saw that they do exist and these were put in over the summer.
