Perhaps I’m forgetting certain companies, but I counted eight main rebranded versions of the BG-12: Honeywell brands (Fire-Lite, Notifier, Gamewell-FCI, Silent Knight, Honeywell), Johnson Controls, Tyco/ADT and Fike.
Question: Which well-known company manufactured the piezo sounders used in Edwards 882-series horns and 892-series horn/strobes? (I’m referring to the later 882s/892s that featured a smaller black piezo with three holes on the front, not the earlier models that used a rather large paper cone speaker)

Q: What recent event caused a change in NFPA 72 regarding how many pull stations should be in a building?
A: I am guessing Parkland or another school shooting.
Q: Are you allowed to have white pull stations?

It was indeed parkland, an electrician told me about it. NFPA Code changed after the shooting because the shooter pulled the fire alarm to lure more victims and cause mass panic. Only one supervised pull station (monitored by school staff) is mandated in all schools nationally, systems with more than one pull station is grandfathered in.
I’m pretty sure the “mandated in all schools nationally” part isn’t true.
