Yeah. I believe there are actually some smoke detectors that can function as both a security camera & an actual smoke detector (they’re few & far between compared to just camera detectors though I think).

Can agree, but I’d think quality would be decent based on the 400+ dollar price tag.
I didn’t really mean that: I meant the fact that the camera would have to look through pretty dark-tinted plastic, which would likely greatly affect the image quality.
