Ah, I see, much like how they’ve made all the other companies they own less front-&-center in the newer logos for the latter (i.e. instead of “Silent Knight By Honeywell” it’s now “Honeywell Silent Knight”, with “Silent Knight” being very small compared to the giant Honeywell logo above it).

Yeah, that and they re-released the Gent Vigilon in 2017 with the panel door being black instead of the grey it used to be and the lack of the Vigilon name on the panel door, instead saying Honeywell GENT instead of GENT by Honeywell Vigilon, and a red border around the controls, but that’s pretty much it, although if you ask me, they have the Gent Nano addressable fire alarm control panel which runs the same devices as the Vigilon as well as the legacy System 34000 Vigilon devices, but they should discontinue the Vigilon panel as it’s been in production since 1997
I guess Gent/Honeywell figures that as long as the Vigilon works why discontinue it?

Just based on how they are prone to going bad, at least the one my school had, which was the grey one which had a sounder fault caused by a strobe circuit failure, which was sorted, but the panel kept thinking the fault had happened again when it hadn’t, heck, the panel is now the newer Vigilon but that has the fault led lit and the LCD displaying fault 1, no other fault indicators are lit @TheCarson116, which doesn’t provide much info on what the fault is to be completely honest.
