FireAlarmGuy12's New (to me) and (not really) Exciting Things

Funnily enough I’m sending the mechanism off to VintageCollections because he apparently knows how to fix these. So hopefully it’ll be fixed within a week or so.

It started showing signs of life when I started manually rotating the code wheel (because according to VintageCollections, you can fix these that way), but the governor isn’t doing its job so it’ll need to be fixed. (Fun fact, the governor on these codes pulls also has a little bell on it that rings while it’s activated. Not sure why NATSCO did that but they did)

Edwards 881-2B remote horn. Unfortunately is 12V (didn’t know that the 882-2B is the 24V version) but is still pretty cool.

Faraday 2701 strobe plate + Faraday Chime (of which I don’t know the model because it’s not on the device sadly). The chime is actually insanely loud for an electronic chime, and at minimum volume I’d say it’s about as loud as my 5394B chime strobe at about 50% volume. Maybe more chimes are like this, idk

Edit: Chime model is likely 5390B

NIB Sigcom AU-502. I would like to point out the amazing steal I got this for. It was only $17 after tax and shipping.

Wow, that is a steal! Congratulations!

Space Age Electronics HA24D (manufactured 08/08/2000). I already have one of these horns but figured I’d get a newer version. This one is in better condition than the one that’s on my VA4 strobe plate.

Gentex WGECB24-75PWB. Certainly an eBay find of all time.
