Just goes to show how rigorous UL tests household fire products. I believe commercial notification appliances are made from a flame resistant plastic- which also shows how much better quality you are actually getting when you install commercial grade fire equipment in a home. I highly doubt that those flimsy pos Ademco Vista cabinets would really protect the circuitry or anything inside during an actual fire.
not really, but, my 5110XM fire panel cabinet is just as flimsy, but it has some sort of fire coating on it.
