Loudest device that you own

Me personally the two loudest devices I own have to be my Siemens UMMT and my system sensor P2R/P2W
my UMMT has to be the loudest at or around 98 decibels, I cant have it sounding for 5 seconds before my eardrums start to hurt
And my quietest device has to be my commander 3 being around 70 decibels
with my Spectralert classic and my P2R/P2W in-between the GEC3 and the UMMT with both being around 80 decibels

Just to clarify I do own a simplex truealert as well but i have no idea how loud it is because it is addressable so i have no way of sounding it because i don’t own any panels
And another thing to clarify, I own both a P2R and a P2W

If I had to guess as to what the loudest device I have is, it’d probably be either my 24VAC Federal Signal 60A electromechanical horn or one of my 24VDC Federal Signal Vibratone 450s (one of the B-series mechanism ones specifically). I don’t have a decibel meter handy but just going by the way they sound it seems like they’re the loudest.

My loudest is probably a mix of my 2901-9833, my faraday type 2 24 vac short projector, and my faraday 812 6 vac horn. Also your addressable truealerts are quieter than regular truealerts.

I’d have to say my Wheelock 31T-115 is loudest. Just barely beats my 4040s. 115VAC vs 12VAC I guess. That or my 4040s are adjusted to be quiet.

Probably my federal Signal 350 A1, they are extremely loud, or my Edwards 374

I don’t really own any fire alarms, but I own a lot of nifty loud stuff.

First place probably has to go to my
Grover 1510 Emergency Horn, It’s so diabolically loud it’s insane

Quietest I have is my modified Code 3 H2 Covert ELS and siren that we put a resistor on it so it isn’t too loud in my room and I can just mess around with it

Wheelock as or est Genesis

My loudest device, would of been my truealert, if it worked.

It’s hard to imagine anything worse than the Simplex Truealert 4906-9127… Maybe not the loudest, but certainly the most ear-piercing. Especially when some genius engineer calls for 2 of them facing each other in a 20x20 room. Double especially when the programmer forgets to check the box to change them from steady to temporal. (oops…)
