Notification standard (strobe colors, tones beyond T3/T4)

Thanks for going in depth on this! I really think there needs to be more standards on this, and this seems like a good starting point.

Why do they sell devices that have colored lenses but have fire lettering. With it being against code to have fire alarm devices with colored strobes, what’s the point of even selling them with colored strobes. I would think that they would only want to sell devices that have colored strobes that have no fire lettering. I feel like the next big innovation (not that it would require much work to implement), especially with addressable notification and LED strobes will be multicolored strobes from one device.
