Good to know. I guess I could post it in fails then?

Another one lol, yep already found another SS749/729AC still hunting for an operating one and of course one for my personal collection.

Just because it’s painted doesn’t automatically mean it’s a 709!

@Jayden_Nielsen In particular I really like the Teledyne-Waterpik D-1, Honeywell TC49A, and the FireX FADCQ.

That’s awesome dude! The SS749s are also one of the alarms that I want to find but just while homesearching as they are extremely rare to find in online marketplaces.

2 rarities I bought off eBay recently, a ESL 906-2, very hard to find especially on eBay. The other is a rare Sunbeam Centurion 45-31, a GuardION FB-1 rebrand with a test button.

Here is something I found in a condo of all places, a BRK model SS749AC or SS749ACS. And yes, it’s actually still operating as you can see the red power LED that is on.

Found this Fuller Brush, or as I like to call it “poopoo on a ceiling” for the laughs because it’s brown :rofl:lmao

No it doesn’t. It’s a red light as you can see in Jayden’s post and I’m not sure if it’s even an LED considering how old it is.

Good finds! Not sure I knew some of those detectors existed myself!

Oh? Alright, wonder what that one First Alert detector I once saw that did have such could be then.

Looks just like the most sun-damaged 1769ACI that I have, heh.

Yeah that’s my mistake, at the time that I sent it to the forums I didn’t watch the stream where you found it, and I randomly bumped into the house that had it.

I think I found the Ring version of the Kidde Detect (these are rarer than you think!)

I also think I found a Guardion FRU-series smoke alarm (not in Canada which is strange)

Honeywell TC89B (notice the test button)

Jameson CD-2?

Is this a smoke alarm? It looks like it has some sort of button above the cutouts and a dark spot towards the bottom that looks like an operation indicator. It also does sort of look like a chimebox for a doorbell.
