System With Most Variety

My high school had quite a variety:

Main Building: Simplex 9219s and 9237s
Auditorium/Music Building: Flush-mount Simplex 4030s
Life Skills Building: 9219s, 4050s, minihorn/strobes, a Commander 3, and a Spectra
Vocational Building: Spectras
Gym: 4030s

Although my school doesn’t have that much variation with the alarms (BG-8s, a mix of GOSs/SHGs/ and Commanders in the hallways and GX-90s in (most) classrooms), what setting the alarms are set to varies greatly. During today’s fire drill, I heard different alarms set on continuous, code-3, siren, (possibly) march time, and a few other things that I’m probably forgetting. It just sounds crazy when it all goes off.

After making a post in the alarms in buildings thread, I realized that the Denver Museum of Nature and Science probably had the system with most variety in it. But now, not so much, as they have replaced most of the variety with TrueAlert Speaker/Strobes. http://community.schuminweb.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3347&p=46816#p46816

Parkview Adventist Medical Center (Old System)
-Wheelock ZNSs mixed with Wheelock NSs, Gentex Commander3s, Gentex GOSs
-Wheelock RSSs mixed with Gentex GXSs
-System Sensor MASSADA Remote Strobe in the ER Waiting Room Bathroom
-BG-8s, a BG-10, a BG-12, Edwards 270-SPO and 270-SPO (GA Version) all over the place
-One Space Age Electronics AV32 Light Plate
I recall a very long time ago seeing Edwards 892-1B horn/strobes mixed in with more AV32 light plates before the Commander3s.
New System: Siemens ZNSs, Siemens MSI-20B pulls.
Fun Fact: There are currently two systems installed (and operational) at the same time. They did a complete “new” installation while the old system remained functional. Right now there’s signals next to signals, pull stations next to pull stations, etc.

Cook’s Corner Mall Complex
-Sears: BNG-1, Federal Signal 450D (B4) horns with VALS “iStrobes”
-Enclosed Mall Hallways: Federal Signal 450 horns on flush mount plates and VALS “iStrobes”
-Dollar Tree: Edwards Genesis Horn/Strobes, 278B-1120 pulls.
-A Jeweler: Faraday “6020” Horn/Strobe (Rather Rare)
-Sports store and Bath & Body Works: Same as hallways but surface mounted (with a flush mount plate, btw)
-Travel Agency Office: Gentex SHGs
-TJ Maxx: Wheelock MTs replacing Federal Signal 450 (B4) horns on flush mount plates with VALS “iStrobes”… they are recessed because the backbox for a flush mounted mechanical horn has to be recessed or the alarm will stick out of the wall.
-Big Lots: SpectrAlerts, ADT 103-01 (First Gen) pull.
Everything past this point is outside the enclosed section of the mall.
-Staples: Federal Signal Vibratone 450 (D1) horns with HOS “iStrobes” mounted on support beams. HOS remote strobes are present as well. Thorn Autocall pull stations (look like Federal Signal / CPG 4050 pulls) and a Federal Signal relabeled Space Age Electronics annunciator.
-Space For Rent (formerly a bookstore): NO FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
-US Cellular, RadioShack, a doctor’s office, a shoe store: Gentex SHGs.

All three of my elementary schools had a variety of alarms:

First Elementary School (Most of Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade):
Main Building has Wheelock MT-LSM and MT-WM Horn/Strobes, along with what appeared to be a MASS Horn/Strobe in 800hz Continous, several locations (mostly buildings 5-9) had Simplex 2901-9833 Horns on 2903 Strobe Plates. Pulls were ESL rebranded ADT 5050’s (until 1st Grade when they were replaced with MS-2’s), along with MS-2’s in Buildings 5-9.
Second Elementary School (Pre-K for August-October 1999):
Many of the classrooms and a few locations had Gentex GOS Horn/Strobes set to 800 hz Continous, but a few small rooms (e.g. Speech Therapy Room, and others) had GX-90 Horn/Strobes. The art room and maybe other rooms had (I believe) a Wheelock EHS. Outside, the cafeteria, and a couple of locations had Simplex 2901-9838 Horns on 2903 Strobe Plates. Pulls were ALSO ESL or Fire-Lite rebranded ADT 5050’s, and I think they had some Simplex pulls too.
Third Elementary School (Grades 2-5):
Many of the buildings except building 12 had Simplex 4051 Horns on 4050-81 or -85 Light Plates (with white “FIRE” lettering), however some of these had their horns disconnected and Wheelock MT, Wheelock AS, and Gentex GOS Horn/Strobes slapped on to the light plates. Outside, they had MT-WM Horn/Strobes, at least one GOS on 2400hz Continous, plus several Simplex 2901-9806 Horns (some were on 2903 plates). The Media Center had MT-LSM Horn/Strobes. Building 12, however, had Vibratone 450D Horns with VALS Strobes. One small room and the portables had Gentex Commander2 Horn/Strobes on Mechanical Continous. Pulls were FCI MS-2’s and I think we had Simplex 4521-20 or Autocall pulls for some of my second grade year.

A Best Buy, over in Daytona Beach has a variety as well. The pulls are CP MS-501s and ADT BG-12LX’s. The alarms are CP Horn/Strobes, System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance Horn/Strobes, Wheelock AS Horn/Strobes, Gentex Commander Horn/Strobes, and other stuff too!

I’m not sure if anyone has been there, but the maryland/baltimore science center has an interesting system.

-The dinosaur area has siemens UMMT/UMHU and UMCS in the whole area. The space above it has the same system, except for a rebranded ZNS really high off the ground. The pull stations for this area were HMS-S pull stations. These devices were found all over the building, but I am only listing them here.

-The other half of the first floor had the following: spectralert classics, gentex commander 2s, and the previously listed devices. there were also ADT 5060-s pull stations, and a ceiling-mount clock, for some reason.

-The second floor has the same stuff in it, but it also has one wheelock LSM style MT, and a federal signal 450D+ old style VALS.

-The third floor has the same as floor one, except for possibly a 270-spo.

My Cousin’s High school. Built in 1979 originally have Simplex 4080 Bells and 4251-20s. With a Spectralert Classic and 4903-9252 as replacement devices. 1990s section with Simplex 4904-9105s (strobe plates) with 2902 remote speakers and a newer section that has TrueAlerts with weatherproof Gentex Commander 2s. Panel is a 4100 (Probably Plus but might’ve been upgraded to ES). Unfortunately the system is getting replaced in the future.

Was this on your own accord or because you were shown the existence of this thread by my post?

I saw the post so yes. Since you bumped the topic

At the zoo in my city, one of the buildings has 7002Ts, Some non Ada wheelock Horn strobes, Gamewell sentry pull stations with the key reset bit, the Gamewell equivalent of the SD-365s and SD-355s, Gentex SHGs, and commanders, and that is all I can remember at the moment.
